gallery: song (2011-2)
I’m not sure why I feel so nervous about starting new work. I think the root cause is that I am fearful it won’t turn out as I hoped. I’m doing my best to focus on the things that inspired the series and not be too worried about how it all ends.
This series is influenced by music and poetry and the desire to capture the kind of emotion experienced when listening to it. I’m still working off existing art and photographs but hope that I’ll discover something new as I go.
